How it works

A warranty your patients can see. A company your practice owns.

Two pieces work together: a limited warranty you offer patients, and a reinsurance structure that lets the practice keep the value it creates.

The program, step by step

01

Offer the warranty

When a patient receives covered restorative work, the practice issues a limited warranty with written terms.

02

A fee funds the program

A warranty fee is collected with treatment. It funds claims and is ceded to a reinsurance company owned by the practice owner.

03

Claims are handled

If covered work fails under the terms, the administrator processes the claim. Patients follow simple steps.

04

Profit stays with you

Over time, what isn’t paid in claims and expenses builds as reserves and underwriting profit in your company.

Why own the reinsurance?

In a typical warranty, the fee goes to an outside company and stays there. With a practice-owned reinsurance company, the risk — and the reward — sits with you.

It’s the same structure car dealers use with the service contracts they sell. The dealer owns a reinsurance company, and over time it becomes a meaningful asset alongside the dealership itself.

Reinsurance and tax structures have strict requirements. We work alongside your CPA and attorney, and every practice should review the structure with its own advisors before launch.
